Hurricane Wilma

I know that many of you are wondering how Harbor Hills faired in Hurricane Wilma. I am happy to report that we did not suffer any injuries or major structural damage to the clubhouse or to any of our many homes under construction. Our Country Club staff and Construction teams worked hard to prepare us for the worst, and fortuneately we were spared with only moderate winds and rain. The construction team worked hard on Saturday to prepare each and every job site for the storm and while some minor wind damage occured we did not encounter any major structural damage. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the less fortunate Floridians in South Florida, many of whom will be without power for several days.

Fred and Wilma Flintstone went courtside for the Harbor Hills Tennis Association Halloween Party. Fred aka "twinkle toes Flintstone" used his bowling expertise along with Wilma's keen wit to crush Barney and Betty in a mixed doubles match while Dino, Bam Bam, and Pebbles took a tennis lesson with the Harbor Hills Tennis Pro, Tom Sellick aka Magnum PI.

Show Your Team Spirit

Thursday October 6 kicks off Harbor Hills annual Sider cup. This is an annual event in its eleventh year that is based on the Ryder Cup. Thursday is the Red Teams spirit golf cart parade followed by dinner at the club. Friday evening will be the Blue teams turn. On Tuesday all will gather for a traditional Oktoberfest feast. The matches begin on Friday the 14th with alternate shot. Saturday is better ball of two. Sundays final matches make up fifty percent of the score and is head to head. Following Sundays match everyone gathers for the awards banquet. The entire week is made of team spirit with the teams members proudly displaying there colors. The competitions is fierce, the stakes are high, and a great time will be had by all!

Giddy Up! A great time was had by all who attended the Ponderosa Fine dining event. The night was highlighted by good times great lobster and great big T-Bone steaks.

A HALO Birthday

A birthday celebration in honor of 1 of our resident HALO's 29th birthday was held Friday afternoon in the club. As you can see a good time was had by the birthday girl, Debbie Bradley.
